Each year Somerset Rural Electric sponsors high school juniors on the National Rural Electric Youth Tour, a week long trip to Washington, D.C.
When in Washington, they join over 1,800 other students from around the country. They usually have the opportunity to meet with their senators and congressman and ask questions. It gives them a great opportunity to see how our government really works.
In keeping with our commitment to the communities, Somerset Rural Electric is pleased to invest in the youth of our area.
